Instructors are biased

Hello everyone!

Sorry it's been awhile but I've been extremely busy...busier than I thought I'd ever be but it has paid off in some respects. So far I have an A in Algebra,(which for those that know me that is a HUGE feat.) an A in Fitness and again for those that know me that is a huge feat as well! But photography, the class I thought I'd be the best at and is my favorite subject and passion I get a C. *sad face* Pretty ridiculous considering I am there every single class and in the darkroom pretty much every weekend and some weeknights. I was going to diss on some of the students in my class that are getting better grades than me for half the work, time and effort but I have decided not to give specifics due to this being the internet. This instructor hasn't liked me from the very first day I get the impression anyway. He makes sarcastic jokes that I try to brush off but now after getting this review I know he doesn't like me. But I know my photos are great and don't need to have some instructor tell me otherwise. Anyway, those are just my recent problems I've had. Thanks for reading!

What Halloween costume are you wearing?

I've decided to wear this costume this Halloween. I don't know if I'll be as happy as THIS guy but how unhappy can one be when wearing the legs of a donkey?! What costume are you wearing this Halloween? Come on, you know you want to be a kid again!

Been busy but not boring!

So I have had about 24 hours of sleep in the last two weeks so that tells you how busy my life is right now. School has pretty much taken over my life, as it should I suppose. I've had lots of things happening though, like I was almost crushed by a huge tree!

I was taking photos of Fort Vancouver and as I was just finishing up photographing the gazebo and was walking toward a cool building there was this HUGE tree off to the side of me and I heard a big cracking sound as if it were lighting and I just stood there freaking out then I saw this tree with a diameter of approx 6 feet round come crashing down in front of me. I had my camera off and it fell to quickly to get a picture of it falling but that would have been cool if I got that shot!

But anyway...that is one of my adventures as I learn new things and realize everything happens for a reason and you all should go to the website www.greatday.com there are some good quotes there, a different one every day.

A new place to live

I have officially moved out of either of my parents house! My new place is small but perfect for me. Like I have said before I am a scardy cat so I like to know no one is in my home and it is very easy in this home because I can see every nook from my bedroom. Who needs a big home when it's just one person especially someone that will hardly ever be home! I will post some pictures up when I have more than just stark white (or in this case, yellow) walls to show you all. I thought I'd have decorations up the first couple days of moving in but I have learned that it's not possible especially when you have little furniture to decorate with! So until then have a great day and listen to The Weepies!

Beautiful world!

What a spectacular photo of a sunrise! Isn't this world just amazing?! My dad took this photo when he and my brother went out to sea to catch fish.

This photo was taken in the bay of the Pacific Ocean on the Washington coast near LongBeach. A very small fishing village where everyone knows everyone and if they don't know you, they soon will!

I hope you all get a chance to visit the ocean some time in your life. It is amazing just to sit on the sand with your feet buried deep into the surface as you watch the waves crash into the rocks. Staring out at the endless water knowing you are only an ocean away from another country!
